Tennis Bracelet, 3mm to 5mm in 18k Plated 925 Silver

A tennis bracelet is a chain of individually set stones, and the thing that decides how it wears is the link. These links are hinged one to the next rather than fixed to a bar, so the line bends around the wrist and every stone keeps facing outward instead of rolling toward the skin. The stones run the full circumference with no plain stretch near the clasp, which is what stops the bracelet looking half finished when it shifts.

Two stone routes are offered. The certified moissanite version is harder at Mohs 9.25, so it keeps its polish through the knocks a wrist takes, and its higher refractive index gives it noticeably more fire. The zircon version is cubic zirconia: softer at around Mohs 8.5, so it clouds and scuffs sooner, less fiery, and much cheaper. Zircon is a sensible choice for a gift or a layering piece. Moissanite is the one to buy if you will wear it daily.

Stone width sets the weight of the look. The 3mm is slim enough to wear with a watch and reads as jewellery rather than ice. The 4mm is the most balanced and the usual choice. The 5mm is broad and heavy and works best alone on the wrist. Lengths run from 17cm to 22cm, so measure your wrist and add roughly 1.5cm so the bracelet drapes rather than grips.
