These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with Frost & Facets. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them before you buy.

1. Who we are

Frost & Facets, registered in Switzerland, contactable at frostandfacets@gmail.com.

2. Products and descriptions

We sell moissanite and cubic zirconia jewellery. We do not sell diamonds and we do not represent our stones as diamonds. Moissanite is silicon carbide, a laboratory grown crystal. Cubic zirconia is a separate and softer synthetic stone. Where a listing offers both, the product page states which option carries the GRA certificate.

Base metals are 925 sterling silver or stainless steel. Gold finishes are 18k plating and are described as plated throughout the site. We do not sell solid gold.

We describe each piece as accurately as we can. Photographs are intended to be representative, and stone brilliance in particular will look different under different lighting. Minor variation in finish between individual pieces is normal in jewellery and is not a defect.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in US dollars and include any applicable Swiss VAT where chargeable. Shipping is calculated and displayed at checkout before payment. Import duty and local tax charged by your own country are not included and are your responsibility, as set out in our shipping policy.

We reserve the right to correct an obvious pricing error. If a price error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and offer you the choice of paying the corrected price or cancelling for a full refund. We will never charge you more than you authorised without your agreement.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline an order where the item is unavailable, where we cannot verify payment, where delivery is not possible to your address, or where we reasonably suspect fraud. If we decline an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

5. Delivery

Delivery estimates are set out in our shipping policy and are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. Returns and cancellation

You may return or exchange an unworn piece within 30 calendar days of delivery, as set out in our returns policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory consumer right you have under the law of your country of residence.

7. Care and durability

Jewellery is worn, and wear is not a fault. Plating will thin over time with daily contact, particularly on rings and bracelets. Damage caused by impact, chemicals, chlorine, ultrasonic cleaning, third party resizing or alteration is not covered by a return. Care guidance is on our FAQ page.

8. Intellectual property

The text, layout and original imagery on this site belong to Frost & Facets. You may not copy or republish them commercially without our written permission.

9. Use of this site

You agree not to attempt to interfere with the operation of this site, to scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other users, or to use it to place fraudulent orders. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe any of these are happening.

10. Liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not liable for loss that is not foreseeable, for business loss, or for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control such as customs action, carrier failure or natural disaster. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law, and the courts of Switzerland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you retain the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
