Moissanite Stacking Ring, 0.5cttw or 0.7cttw in S925

A stacking ring has to do two jobs: look right on its own and sit flat against another band. This one is built around 3mm stones set into a slim shank, so the stones give it presence while the profile stays low enough that a second ring can sit flush beside it without a gap. The shank is not domed, which is the detail that stops stacked rings from rocking against each other and wearing on the metal.

Stones are moissanite on S925 sterling silver. Stacking rings take the worst wear of any ring, because two bands rub against each other every time your hand moves, and the stones are the first casualty. Moissanite at Mohs 9.25 is hard enough to survive that contact where a softer stone would scuff and go cloudy at the girdle. The refractive index around 2.65 is also why a 3mm stone still flashes rather than sitting flat and grey.

Two total weights and three finishes are offered. The 0.5cttw version keeps the stones smaller and is the one to buy if you intend to wear two or three of these together, since the line stays even. The 0.7cttw has more stone and works better alone. Silver suits white gold and steel, gold is the warmer option, and rose gold sits in between. Sizes run from 5.5 through 8 in half steps, so order close to your true fit.
