The pear is the cut that flatters a neckline without trying. Hung from its narrow end the stone tapers downward, following the line of the throat rather than interrupting it, and the broad end sits where the light is strongest. It is why teardrop pendants have outlived almost every other pendant trend. A taller outline also leaves room on the chain for the stone to swing freely when you walk.
Each stone is GRA certified moissanite, with the grading documented rather than described. That matters on a solitaire pendant more than on a busy piece, because a single stone against bare skin has nowhere to hide warmth in the colour or cloudiness in the body. The claw over the tip is deliberate too, since the point of a pear is the part most likely to take a knock. Moissanite has a refractive index of about 2.65, higher than diamond at about 2.42, and a Mohs hardness of 9.25, so the stone stays sharp and bright.
Four weights cover very different jobs. The 1ct at 5x8mm is a daily necklace that layers under a shirt. The 2ct at 6x9mm is the most balanced and the easiest to wear anywhere. The 3ct at 7x11mm has clear presence. The 4ct at 8x12mm is an occasion piece and reads instantly across a room. All four arrive on a 45cm chain, which sits just below the collarbone, in white gold, yellow gold or rose gold over 925 sterling silver.
